We recently had the opportunity to work with Kitra, a Vancouver based company claiming an amazing cabinet refinishing fix that’s a win-win for the environment and our budget. Needless to say, we were hooked…
We moved ahead and hired Kitra to give the kitchen cabinets in the #PUREbosshack guest suite a much-needed makeover. The process itself was relatively painless and Kitra took care of everything. A kitchen makeover for Kitra is typically a 2-week affair, with only 2 days of actual kitchen non-use.
Our Kitra finish looks like a brand new kitchen, not just a refinish. We were definitely impressed with the final product, a lot less money than replacing the cabinets, even if we used Ikea! They also seamlessly filled the holes from the old hardware so we could choose new ones that they expertly installed for us!
Whenever possible PURE utilizes sustainable and mindful design and construction practices. The fact that we didn’t have to rip out quality cabinetry and send it to the landfill was such a motivator for us and we especially love that they use a non-toxic lacquer system with the lowest environmental impact.
Kitra is so confident about their process and product they guarantee their work, 25 years for the coating and 5 years for the craftsmanship. When they approached us they said their goal was to impress us as design and renovation industry professionals, and I have to say we were blown away..!
